GuestHouse Casa Amora

by admin

A typical building of the small bourgeoisie of Lisbon from the early twentieth century, renovated in 2012, with a small outdoor patio for rest or meals, and 5 magnificent rooms (all with bathroom), we have other 6 large rooms in a building contiguous to the main of pombalina architecture. Each room pays homage to the most important figures in English (painting, music, literature, film) art of the last century.
The process of renovation and adaptation carefully kept all existing decorative elements in the rooms (plaster) and abroad (tiles, balcony), introducing a palette of colors that make for a relaxing and peaceful environment.

Casa Amora is located in one of the nicest neighborhoods and central Lisbon, Praça Amoreiras. Near this neighborhood is an aqueduct of the eighteenth century, which survived the great Lisbon earthquake of 1755. Also find Water Museum and Vieira da Silva Museum / Arpad Szenes.

Our guests have direct access to antique shops (Rua de Sao Bento and Rua da Escola Politécnica), historic districts (Bairro Alto and Chiado), Avenida da Liberdade, its fashionable shops. All within walking distance!
